Since each product is a handmade one-off and a 100% natural product, slight deviations in shape (+/-1cm) and color are possible and underline the unique character of the handmade one-off. Care: What should be considered?
With the right care, you can preserve the beauty of your wickerwork for many years. Due to their natural origin, willow items do not tolerate wetness, drought, permanent or direct sun. A willow product is therefore not suitable for outdoor use, especially under constant weather conditions (e.g. rain) and permanent UV radiation. Such circumstances can lead to discoloration, damage to the surface or severe drying out.
The wicker baskets are extremely durable and robust when kept dry and well-cared for. To keep the wicker flexible, elastic, and retain its natural hue and shade, it is recommended to maintain moderate humidity, and room temperature. To prolong the life of your wicker basket, keep it in a dry, shady place, and dust it regularly and thoroughly with a soft, dry dusting brush, or slightly damp if necessary.
